Making Time for Mindfulness

Making Time for Mindfulness is a skill-based workshop meant to support stress reduction and overall wellbeing. This is a skilled based experiential mindfulness workshop offered to UConn faculty/staff and students. It includes an introduction of concepts and skills of mindfulness and practice exercises. 

Skills and Concepts Introduced:
• Definition and benefits of mindfulness
• Present moment awareness
• Noticing
• Accepting

Making Time for Mindfulness may be requested as a program event here. 

Mindfulness will resume for the Fall 2025 semester.

Our intention is to engage in practices that support mental wellbeing and help build community and connection. 

Our Meditation classes are open for all UConn students, faculty and staff.
