Isabelle Parker
MA
Doctoral Intern
Education:
B.A., in Psychology and Literature, Bennington College
M.A., in Clinical Psychology, William James College
Professional Interests:
My professional interests are in interpersonal trauma and posttraumatic growth. More specifically, I care deeply about survivors of sexual violence and their capacity to heal and process their trauma. Personally, I love music, reading, writing poetry, and being in nature.
Therapeutic Approach:
My therapeutic approach takes from modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. I strongly believe in being trauma-informed and strength-based when engaging with my clients, and truly enjoy the process of building rapport with them. I admire the strength, resilience and honesty it takes for clients to do the hard work of therapy, and it is an honor to walk alongside them on every client’s unique path.
