Professional Interests:
I am particularly interested in supporting individuals experiencing depression and anxiety, as well as exploring effective approaches to trauma recovery through trauma-informed care. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life transitions and adjustments, such as academic, career, and personal changes, and I have a strong interest in identity development, particularly in teens and young adults as they explore their sense of self, values, and purpose. My interests also focus on the dynamics of attachment and promoting secure, healthy relationships in both teens and adults. Additionally, I have a deep commitment to supporting veterans by addressing issues such as trauma, reintegration, and the complexities of transitioning from military to civilian life.

Therapeutic Approach:
My therapeutic approach is grounded in providing compassionate care and evidence-based interventions tailored to each individual’s unique needs and circumstances. I draw from a variety of modalities to support clients in navigating challenges and achieving their goals. My work is rooted in a solution-focused, strengths-based framework that emphasizes resilience, empowerment, and the client’s capacity for change. I utilize approaches such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify practical steps toward their desired outcomes, as well as Motivational Interviewing to explore and enhance motivation for change. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) inform much of my work, offering tools to reframe negative thought patterns and foster emotional regulation. I also integrate Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques to cultivate present-moment awareness and reduce stress. Additionally, I incorporate principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients in aligning their actions with personal values and embracing psychological flexibility.
