Professional Interests:
Anxiety and stress management, performance related anxiety, body image and positivity, depression, cultivation of self-compassion.
I also enjoy the integration of mindfulness and self-compassion practices in my psychotherapeutic work. Other professional interests include advocacy work and social justice, along with health and wellness and a special attention to the mind-body-spirit connection. More personally, I love to travel and explore new places.

Therapeutic Approach:
I use a client centered approach, incorporating humanistic and interpersonal theories. I approach clients with acceptance and use commitment-based strategies to foster personal growth. It is my genuine intention to instill individual empowerment by nourishing potential utilizing a nonjudgmental, inclusive and affirming approach. I bring authenticity to the therapeutic relationship. I regard each of my clients as strong capable problem solvers and I collaborate with them to help facilitate self-actualization, personalized solutions, growth and change. I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with students as they travel along their path to wellness.
