Professional Interests:
My clinical interests include multicultural counseling, substance use, identity formation and development, anxiety and stress management, trauma, and grief work. Other professional interests include social justice and advocacy work and the use of digital assessment and intervention tools. Outside of work I enjoy listening to music and dancing, spending time outdoors with my family, and watching documentary films.

Therapeutic Approach:
I approach therapy through the balance of holistic, person-centered strategies and systemic conceptualizations that account for the unique strengths of each client as well as the impact of environmental and systemic forces on their experience. My clinical style stems from my background in applying integrative strategies including Cognitive Behavioral, Humanistic, and Solution-focused approaches to diagnostically diverse, multicultural populations in community and educational settings. It is my genuine belief that therapy is most effective when it extends beyond the therapy hour to impact realistic change in the day to day lives of clients. My approach seeks to create a space where theory driven strategies and the individual identity of each client meet to provide accessible solutions for their needs.
